Sculpture Exhibition
Do you have a sculpture you would like to exhibit at this year’s festival?
Perhaps you have created a sculpture on commission, or you simply want an opportunity to showcase your work to a wider audience.
We have dedicated exhibition sites for sculptures that are not entered in the Awards. These sculptures will not be judged in any Award category, including the People’s Choice Award.
We are looking for sculptures that have the “wow” factor — works that demonstrate the skill and creativity of the sculptor and have broad appeal to festival visitors.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your talent, promote your work and connect with a large audience in a vibrant rural setting.
If you have a sculpture that you think would make an impact, we would love to hear from you.
Please note:
There is no fee to exhibit your sculpture.
Display of promotion material is permitted.
The sculpture/s must be free standing and suitable for display outside. Sculptures that fit the small sculpture criteria will not be considered.
You will have the option to sell the sculpture either during the festival or for 30 days after the festival on the www.ruralart.nz website but any sale must be transacted through the Kimbolton Arts & Sculpture Trust bank account. (The Trust will receive 20% commission on all sales).
The Sculptor Terms & Conditions and Sale of Sculpture Terms & Conditions will apply for the Sculpture Exhibition site.
Delivery of sculptures:
Sculptures may be delivered anytime between 12:00noon and 4:00pm Thursday 1st April or 9:00am and 4:00pm Friday 2nd April.
Sculptures must remain on site until 4:00pm Saturday 4th April.
Please complete the form below to register your interest before 20th March 2027. You must upload a photo of the sculpture to the form.
Registering your interest does not ensure the acceptance of your sculpture for the Sculpture Exhibition site.
